Meet my first love-- ballet.

I started dancing ballet at the age of four. My mom recalls that she brought me to the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) just because she wanted me to be busy that summer. Also, since my cousin works there, we were able to avail of her employee discount.

All I could say is, that summer morning changed my life. I may not have liked it right away, but I admit that after spending half of my life there, I definitely fell in love with it. 

I know it was love because there was sacrifice, discipline, passion, disappointment, and above all, there was happiness.

But as an old saying goes, "all good things come to an end." 

And as much as I want to continue, I have to let go and focus on my studies.

I may have pursued a different career, but I will definitely never forget my first love and the lessons it has taught me.
