Roses are Red

Red top | Cotton On

Beaded Collar | Cache Cache

What is the purpose of labeling clothes on blogs? I mean if one has style, it doesn't matter if one's clothes or bag is expensive or inexpensive right? Well, I think today's youth have lots of brands to choose from and I think it is becoming problematic.

The minor  problems I'd have to point out (which I am also guilty of) is necessity and affordability. When buying clothes, bags, or shoes, ask yourself these 2 questions: Is it necessary? Can I afford it? Here is a simple diagram to show you my thought process on buying clothes.

The major problem I'd like to address is 'individuality' . Since a lot of trends are shown by influential people,  the young ones have a hard time discovering who they are and what their style really is. Well, I'm having problems with that part too. But I think it could help if we go against the flow. Don't follow the trend. I guess that's what sets us apart, from others. Cause in the end, it is not about blending in, but it about standing out. :)

Just to answer my own question, I label the things here on my blog just in case you want to know where I bought a particular item. It will also serve as my personal inventory.

So, what are your thoughts?

  9. Love your outfit, the skirt and the reds are so cute!
I tend to skip the "is it necessary step" and buy every beautiful dress I can afford. It's such a waste having them all hanging up, hidden.
